Lauren Anderson, Founder and Director

Lauren is a San Francisco Garden and Compost Educator and food justice activist that loves growing food and feeding people. She is an avid fermenter and canner and usually has some concoction bubbling away on the stove or kitchen counter at any given time.
She is also an artist and Co-Founder/Co-Director of The Spare Room Project, a community art project space in Bernal Heights.

Case Garver, Summer Program Assistant, 2010

Case is an Ohio transplant, currently in the middle of a year of service with Lutheran Volunteer Corp. He has been honing his food justice and community gardening skills at The Free Farm and is sharing his time this summer between Produce to the People and Cultivate DioCal.
